Congratulations to our Craft Team who won First Place in the Judges Panel Awards during the 5th Annual SweetWater Brew Your Cask Off.
Their creation “The Walking Dad” consisted of 420 base with dried apricot, grapefruit peel and peach extract; re-fermented with brown sugar and 3463 Forbidden Fruit yeast; and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Apollo.

The featured performers included Coors Light, Desperados, Dos Equis Ambar & Lager, El Jimador Tequila, Jack Daniel’s, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Rex Goliath Wine, and Rex Goliath Sangria.

We would like to recognize outstanding results from Tate Parker at Walmart Stockbridge. Within 6 months, through persistence, professionalism, and outstanding service level, Tate earned the respect of his valued customer. As a result, Tate grew United’s presence from 0 displays to 8 displays. A representation of 90% of the wine displays, and a win-win for both United and Walmart. Great job Tate!
Dionca Ross won a display contest for Rex Goliath for Constellation. It was the best display in the Southern Zone and the best for the Southeast Area.
Our Operation’s outstanding employee this month is Gary Bonner. Gary has been an huge asset to our beer check- in department. He’s always present, on time, and has a great attitude towards our delivery drivers and everyone he comes into contact with. Gary has also stepped-up to provide leadership and stability in the department during vacations and peak season. We are pleased that he is a part of our Operation.
Darien Major, a United Retail Spirits sales representative, made it a personal mission to take Bacardi Rum to the next level.
He utilized his excellent relationships to unseat a competitive top-5 brand and build this impactful display in the #1 position. This Bacardi display has more cases than any other display in the store!
