Overview
We are looking for students who are interested in Sales & Marketing, Business, Communications or earning a similar degree to join our 10-12 week internship program.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must be willing to work 40 hours per week, including some holidays and weekends
This opportunity will allow students to assist drivers in the delivery of products to customers in a manner that is consistent with our customer service standards. The workweek will be Mondays (12pm – 5pm) and Tuesday through Friday starting at 6:00 AM.
Our Sales Merchandiser internship is designed for rising sophomores, juniors, land seniors who are 18 years or older. Interns will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with retail customers, as well as:
- Working with our Chain Beer Representatives to ensure sales floor shelves and displays are properly set up to drive sales
- Assisting customers with creating an organized back stock that allows for easier product accessibility
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of United Distributor’s product portfolio
- Building innovative and unique beer displays that creatively market United Distributor’s beer portfolio
- Being a part of the introduction of new product launch initiatives
- Lifting of 30 lbs everyday on a consistent basis, some overhead lifting required
Logistics Area Manager Intern will be responsible for observing a team of logistics associates, ensuring that all product is correctly and efficiently stocked and rotated, including managing product availability and receipt, and ensuring the product is available and custom orders are completed each night.
Our Sales Interns are offered an introduction to multiple departments within the Company. This internship is designed for rising Seniors potentially interested in pursuing a sales career at United Distributors. The Sales Intern must be 21 years or older and will e responsible for:
- Analyzing customer and brand sales data
- Planning, conducting, and debriefing a successful sales call
- Understanding the concept of total beverage alcohol and how United Distributors is different than most GA distributors
- Understanding United’s product portfolio
- Conducting a beer and draft survey and analyzing an On-Premise beer and draft portfolio
- Delivering a grand finale presentation to United Executives
