Scofflaw Brewing Company is Georgia’s newest craft Brewery. More than two years in the making, Scofflaw Brewing Co. is the brainchild of owner Matt Shirah, who enlisted the help of brewmaster and co-founder Travis Herman. Together, Shirah and Herman bring a wealth of experience in the craft beer and brewing industry and aim to deliver a quality product intended to change the perception of Southern craft beer.
Located in northwest Atlanta’s Bolton neighborhood, Scofflaw Brewing Co. boasts an 18,419 square-foot production facility and tasting room. Shirah and Herman have been working hard on research and development for the past 18 months, using a laboratory to cultivate several local yeast strains. These efforts have yielded several tropical and hop forward IPAs, a pale ale and an imperial barrel-aged stout.
Scofflaw Brewing Co. is located at 1738 MacArthur Boulevard NW, adjacent to Crest Lawn Cemetery.
