LEESE – FITCH FIREHOUSE RED

This vintage of the Leese-Fitch Firehouse Red shows aromatics of Bing cherry, huckleberry, sweet leather and cedar with hints of toasted dill and earth. The flavor starts with dark chocolate covered cherries, espresso, vanilla bean, blackberry syrup and tart plum. The finish shows Italian roast coffee, heavy toasted French oak, balsalmic reduction and cocoa nibs.

FOOD PAIRINGS
This is a big wine that would pair best with rich dishes. Sausage lasagna, a flatiron steak with roasted root vegetables or carne asada tacos come to mind as good pairings.
