Glendalough Wild Seasonal Botanical Gin is a gin like no other. Made from wild botanicals, foraged in the mountains around our distillery, and distilled in small batches the very next day. Or sometimes on the same day if we’re up early enough.
Each season is different, the unpredictable Irish weather resulting in an ever changing array of botanicals, berries and fruit.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fruity with a floral perfume, grassy notes and pine
Taste: Big and full mouth feel, gorse flower, juniper, a little citrus and sweet, fresh pine
Finish: Warming, citrussy and long
While the spring gin is a fresh mix of young green shoots, wild botanical leaves and flowers, the summer gin tastes like a meadow in bloom. Autumn is packed with wild fruits and berries, and Winter is full of pine and fir, with a cinnamon sweetness and a hint of cloves. With each taste, these gins transport you to a place and time in our home – Glendalough, deep in the Wicklow Mountains.
