With the 2013 Drew’s Blend Pinot Noir, Carmel Road’s Pinot Noir expertise meets the vivacious, free spirited charm of winemaking partner Drew Barrymore. Drew and winemaker Kris Kato set out to craft this wine, with the goal of offering a beautiful Pinot Noir featuring red fruit and warm spice notes, perfect for sharing with friends and family. Sourced primarily from our estate Panorama Vineyard nestled in the foothills of the Arroyo Seco AVA, select lots from our Clark and Mission Peak vineyards provide balance and elegance. All of our vineyards have been certified sustainable by the SIP organization (Sustainability In Practice) since 2008. Lush and vibrant, highlighting fresh red fruit aromas and flavors, with hits of spice and tobacco. It’s a very pretty wine and has lots of subtle aromas and nuances.
With personalities rooted in shared California coastal origins and a passion for wine to match, Carmel Road and Barrymore Wines have partnered to co-release a series of wines that reflect the smart, confident and relaxed spirit of the two brands.
