POSITION TITLE: Delivery Team Leader
REPORTS TO: Delivery Manager
JOB SUMMARY: To provide merchandising support to sales and delivery for assigned accounts. To assist delivery personnel in delivering, merchandising, and stocking of shelves and to perform duties of delivery and sales personnel in their absence.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)Performs duties of delivery personnel in his/her absence. This includes loading and unloading of product, driving tractor trailer trucks, delivery of product to customer, collecting money owed, building displays, rotating product, merchandising, and reconciling daily cash intake.
2)Constructs, maintains, and dismantles impact displays.
3) Builds, merchandises, and dismantles booked displays, coordinating activities with delivery requirements.
4)Implements and maintains the proper product rotation techniques.
5)Assists delivery personnel in delivery, merchandising, and stocking of shelves and coolers.
6)Performs other related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Heat, cold, humidity, outside weather conditions, and heights.
EDUCATION – High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE – 1-3 years of direct experience in a similar position
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILL: Possess excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal skills. Knowledge of general office equipment, beverage products, code dates, packaging and pricing. Possess valid CDL Class A Georgia drivers license. Knowledge of applicable State, Federal, County, and local laws regarding the sale and merchandising of products. Ability to operate small hand tools, pricing gun, hand truck, and hand held computer.
