Stich Sauvignon Blanc is named in recognition of John ‘Stich’ Stichbury, founder of Jackson Estate, located in Marlborough, New Zealand. The character of this wine typically reflects its origin and season, being distinctly aromatic, intensely flavoured and finishing with refreshingly crisp acidity.
Tasting notes:
The nose dominates with notes of citrus, white stone fruits and perfumed floral blossom. This continues through on the pallet which predominates with luscious but crisp white stone fruit flavours, an underlying lees driven textural backbone and a fine grained mineral concentration. A lovely clean acidity gives the wine lift, balance and poise.
