In the Marketplace

Fantastic job by Sales Representative Greg Lanier on the work he is doing to establish a great partnership with Publix!

The following is from Brad Scott,
Grocery Retail Improvement Specialist Publix Super Markets, Inc. | Atlanta Division

“Just wanted to send a quick note to compliment one of your Sales Representatives, Greg Lanier.  I met this young man a couple month’s ago at Store #468.  He had just started with your company.  I could tell he was new and had a lot of learning to do.  Our first meeting was very cordial and pleasant.  I didn’t think anything about it until this week.
I ran into Greg again this week at Store #514.  I was very impressed with his understanding of Publix’s processes and systems.  Greg was talking lingo and terms that many of our managers could not.  He asked many educated questions that showed he really was taking an interest in learning more about the business, industry, and Publix.  Honestly, if he wasn’t working for you, I’d try to recruit him!
From what I can tell, you have a great associate in Greg Lanier.  I talked with three managers about Greg, the service, and the relationship they have with him.  All three could not say enough good things about him.  Coming from retail managers, that could be one of the highest compliments a supplier/vendor could receive.  Great job with developing Greg.  He is making a great partnership with his Publix stores.
Please pass on my thanks to Greg for all that he does to make Publix a better place for customers to shop.”
