Stags’ Leap The Investor Red Blend

“The Investor” name came from Horace Chase, who in 1893 made his fortune investing in the gold and silver mines during the California gold rush, embarked in a new venture –wine-making in Napa Valley. Mr. Chase found the perfect volcanic rock and rich clay soil in which to plant vines and build a home, creating the estate that inspired the Stags Leap appellation.
Stags’ Leap The Investor Red Blend is inspired by three varietals planted on the historic Stags’ Leap Estate, it beautifully blends together Petite Sirah, Merlot, and Cabernet. Lush fruit flavors of ripe blackberry and black currant are intermixed with notions of chocolate, lavender, and tobacco to deliver an elegant and velvety wine that can be enjoyed now or age gracefully for over a decade.
