GRANVILLE WINE COMPANY

Our Philosophy

We believe that wine should be an expression of place and time, achieved through holistic farming and honest wine-making. We are proud to be second generation wine growers in the Hills of Dundee, Oregon.
This place is our home, and we love what we do. We hope to share a glass with you soon.
– Jackson & Ayla Holstein

The Vines

The Holstein Vineyard is located at the top of the Dundee Hills at an elevation of 700 feet. Planted at high density in volcanic Jory clay soils with aspects to the west, east, and south. This site has produced top-shelf Pinot Noir for the likes of Argyle Winery, Arterberry Maresh, Purple Hands Winery, Walter Scott, and now Granville Wine Company. The vineyard is managed and operated by the Holstein family with generations of growing experience.

EOLA-AMITY HILLS CHARDONNAY | 2017 Chardonnay

We carefully selected this fruit from a north slope of Spirit Hill Vineyard that sits 750 feet above the Willamette Valley floor in Eola-Amity Hills AVA. After aging for 10 months in 80% neutral French oak and 20% new French oak, bright acidity is matched with minerality and stone fruits. ensuring a refreshing balanced wine. We hope you enjoy our version of Oregon Chardonnay as much as we do.

DUNDEE HILLS, PINOT NOIR | 2016 Farmhouse Cuvée

100% Dundee Hills Pinot Noir blend from Holstein and Murto Vineyards. Meant to be approachable, food friendly, and an everyday drinking wine that has no comparables. Receiving the same 16 months of barrel aging and same hand-crafted approach as all of our other wines because first impressions matter.
Tasting Notes: Playful and florescent nose. Herbaceous yet fruit forward with blackberry/huckleberry jam qualities. Distinguishable with cola nuances. Effortless drinkability. Drink now or later, you won’t be upset either way.
