Barbed Wire Wines

At Barbed Wire, they like to think of themselves as craftsmen—building wines from the ground up. They believe that to make great wine, you’ve got to get your hands dirty. You’ve got to go out into the vineyards and learn what makes each region special. Take pride in your craft. By focusing on quality not quantity, they are able to make tremendously expressive wines—wines that are true to their roots—and to the company’s roots.

Once each of their blends are composed, grapes are gently cold-soaked during fermentation to give the blend a smooth, silky texture, then aged in large oak barrels for added body and flavor.

Cabernet Sauvignon

In the glass, Barbed Wire Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep, dark ruby color, infused with intense aromas of spicy black cherries with hints of mocha and spice. Concentrated flavors of juicy cherry and blackberry glide across the palate leaving a dash of bittersweet chocolate in their wake.

Barbed Wire Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth and rewarding on its own, but it’s especially delicious served with bold dishes like roast chicken, pan-seared ribeye steaks, and juicy burgers topped with sharp cheddar cheese.

Red Blend

In the glass, Barbed Wire Red Blend is a rich garnet color, bursting with inviting aromas of ripe berries and warm spices. Succulent black cherry, juicy plum and rich blackberry flavors mingle on the palate with hints of crushed herbs and vanilla. It’s an approachable and versatile wine, with a wonderfully smooth texture perfectly balanced by bright, mouthwatering acidity.
Barbed Wire Red Blend is delicious any time, but it’s especially enjoyable when served with barbecued chops, grilled salmon, and spicy sausage and mushroom pizza.
